What to do
If the button above did nothing, or the app is on another phone — the same thing by hand:
- Open the Mayak app on your phone and sign in if you have not yet.
- Account → Sign in a TV.
- Scan the code from the TV screen or type it in.
A couple of seconds later the TV signs in by itself. The code lives for a few minutes: if it is gone, the TV shows a new one — that is normal.
Without the app — in your online account
Our Mayak app for iPhone is in development, and there is none for computers — so there the code is confirmed in your online account, in an ordinary browser. Sign in, find “Sign in a TV” under “Devices” and press “Confirm sign-in”.
No app on your phone yet
You do not need it for the TV. No account — create one with the “Create an account on this phone” button above: signing up and confirming the sign-in both happen right here, in the browser. Already have an account — confirm the code in your online account. One account covers every device: phone, tablet, TV.
The “Open in the app” button also lands here when the app on your phone is old: code sign-in was not there from the start. Update it where you got it and the button will work.
