You want Happ on your iPhone, you open the App Store — and there are several apps with Happ in the name, with no way to tell which is real. None of them is. Below: what is going on with Happ in the Russian App Store (we checked Apple's catalogue on 4 October 2026), how not to install a fake, and which ways let you connect on an iPhone today.
In short. The real Happ (publisher Flyfrog LLC) is not in the Russian App Store; it is in the US one. A search for “happ” in the Russian store shows look-alike apps from other publishers, including some with “Plus” in the name — do not paste your subscription link into them. There are three ways forward: INCY (publisher LLC ITDEV) from the Russian App Store, free and taking the same link; Happ from an Apple account of another country; the publisher's beta build in TestFlight, with caveats. We have checked both Happ and INCY with our link in a live connection.
We make Mayak, a private network. On iPhone it works with a subscription link in Happ or INCY; our own iPhone app is in development. This article is about Happ on iPhone in general; only one section is about us.
🍎 Our own iPhone app is in development. You can connect today: sign up with the button above and add the subscription link from your account to INCY or Happ — which way to choose.
Is Happ in the Russian App Store: a catalogue check
We asked Apple's catalogue directly — by app number and by search, in the Russian and US stores, on 4 October 2026. Here is what it said:
- Happ for iPhone (“Happ - Proxy Utility”, publisher Flyfrog LLC): not in the Russian store, present in the US one — version 5.9.0, free, requires iOS 15 or newer.
- Happ Lite, the release the publisher labels “Russia only”: the catalogue knows it in neither the Russian nor the US store. Yet on the same day the publisher's site and its GitHub page still pointed their “App Store — Rus” button at it. If that button opens an empty page, your phone is not the problem.
- Happ for Apple TV is in the Russian store — but it is a separate app for the set-top box and will not install on an iPhone. TVs are covered in a separate article.
Since spring 2026 the real Happ has left the Russian App Store several times and come back under another name. The catalogue does not say why, and we will not guess — nor promise that it will return.
What a search for “happ” shows and how to tell the real one
On 4 October a catalogue search for “happ” in the Russian store returned 17 apps. Eight have “Happ” in the name — and none is from Flyfrog LLC. Two have “Plus” in the name, one calls itself “Official”. A search on the iPhone itself may order them differently and add ads, but the rule stays the same:
- Open the app's page and find the developer's name under the title.
- Compare: for Happ it is Flyfrog LLC, for INCY it is LLC ITDEV.
- No match — do not install. You would paste your subscription link into that app, and the link works like a password: anyone who has it can connect to your access.
“Happ Plus on iPhone” was the name of one of the same publisher's earlier releases. There is no Happ Plus from Flyfrog LLC in the Russian store now, and an app with “Plus” or “Official” in its name from another publisher is not Happ, however similar the icon looks. The full store check, with every iPhone client, is in “Which apps work on iPhone in Russia”.
How to get Happ on iPhone or what to use instead: three ways
| Way | What you need | What we know |
|---|---|---|
| INCY from the Russian App Store | Your usual Apple account, iOS 15 or newer. Free: INCY in the App Store | Checked with our link in a live connection on 22 September 2026. How to connect INCY |
| Happ from another country's account | An Apple account set to another country and a payment method for it — those are Apple's terms. The listing: Happ in the App Store | Checked with our link in a live connection. What changing country costs |
| Happ beta build in TestFlight | Apple's TestFlight app and an invitation from the publisher's page | Under Apple's rules a build is available for 90 days. We have not tested it (details) |
Unless you need Happ for something specific, INCY is the easier start: it installs from your usual account, is free and takes the same subscription link as Happ. It is covered step by step in “INCY: how to connect”. Install either one from the links in the table or from “Where to tap on iPhone” — they are checked against the publisher there.
If Happ is already on your iPhone
An app that is already installed does not vanish from the phone when it is taken out of the store. But it has nowhere to get updates from through the Russian App Store. Hence three practical tips:
- If it works, do not delete it. You will not be able to reinstall it from a Russian account now.
- If you have “Happ Plus” or “Happ Lite” from Flyfrog LLC, those are older releases from the same publisher. They connect the same way, by link, but get no updates.
- If it stopped connecting, first go through the five-minute check: most often the cause is the subscription term, the server or the network, not Happ itself.
How to add a subscription to Happ or INCY
The steps are the same for both apps. With our link they go like this:
- Get the link in your account: the “Connecting by link” card → “Show the link”.
- Pass it to the app. For Happ on the same iPhone the easiest is “Open the connection page” → “Open in Happ”. For INCY, tap “Copy”, then in the app “+” → “Import from clipboard”.
- Let the iPhone add the configuration when it asks — it is the standard system dialog for any app of this kind.
- Pick a country and switch it on. The servers arrive under the name “Mayak Networks”, each with a flag and a country.

Mayak on iPhone: what exists today
- Our own iPhone app is in development; we give no dates. You can connect today with the subscription link from your account, in Happ or INCY.
- What the link carries. Our servers, the X-ray protocol (VLESS with REALITY) and your access term. The app re-reads the list on its own every three hours. The link brings one connection method — there is no automatic path switching here like in our Android app.
- How many devices. An iPhone, an iPad and a computer each take a plan slot: “Start” up to 3, “Family” up to 5, “Max” up to 10 (details). The trial is 3 days on two devices after you confirm your email, no card needed.
- What we do not promise. That Happ will return to the Russian App Store, or that a particular site or service will open for you: we are responsible for our part of the path.
Try it on your own iPhone. Create an account, install INCY or Happ and add the link from the “Connecting by link” card. We ask for no payment details for the trial. A confirmed email opens the access — 3 free days. An email is optional: without one the trial is 1 day.
What we checked
- What is in the App Store — from Apple's catalogue, 4 October 2026: Happ, Happ Lite and INCY by number in the Russian and US stores; a search for “happ” in the Russian store; Flyfrog LLC's apps in the Russian store.
- Where the publisher's buttons lead — its site and GitHub page, 4 October 2026: “App Store — Rus” points to Happ Lite, which the catalogue does not know.
- Happ on iPhone with our link — a live connection in September 2026; INCY — likewise, 22 September 2026.
- TestFlight build lifetime — from Apple's documentation.
What we do not know
- Whether Happ will return to the Russian App Store, and for how long. Our check is one day, 4 October 2026.
- Whether the TestFlight beta installs from a Russian account. Not tested.
- How much longer already installed Happ, Happ Plus and Happ Lite will keep working. We only know they will get no updates through the Russian store.
- What results your iPhone shows. A catalogue search is not the phone screen: order and ads may differ.
- How the connection will behave on your network. Only you can see that. If it did not work, tell us your iPhone model, the app and the operator.
Quick answers
How do I download Happ on iPhone in Russia? Not from a Russian Apple account: it is not in the Russian store. The options are an account from another country or the TestFlight beta; INCY is simpler and does the same job.
Why is Happ not in the App Store? Apple's catalogue gives no reasons, and we will not guess. All we can see is that it is missing from the Russian store and present in the US one.
Is Happ Plus on iPhone the same Happ? Only if the publisher is Flyfrog LLC. There is no such app in the Russian store now; a “Happ Plus” from another publisher is a different app.
Is Happ VPN on iPhone paid? The app itself is free. It has no servers: you pay whoever gives you the subscription link.
What can I install on iPhone instead of Happ? INCY (publisher LLC ITDEV): it is in the Russian App Store and takes the same link. How to connect.
And on an iPad? The same: Happ for iPhone also installs on an iPad, and it is just as missing from the Russian store. Tablets are covered in a separate section.
