INCY is a free client app for iPhone, iPad and Mac from the publisher LLC ITDEV. It is available in the Russian App Store, but on its own it connects to nothing: INCY has no servers, and it connects to whatever you give it with a subscription link. Below: what the app is according to its store page, where to download INCY without getting a fake, where to get a subscription and how to add it. Everything here is as of 4 October 2026.
In short. INCY is a client, not a service: its App Store page says plainly that it “does not provide servers”. To make it work you need a subscription link from a provider. The order: download INCY from the App Store and check the publisher — LLC ITDEV; copy the subscription link from your provider (with Mayak — in your account area, the “Connecting by link” card); in INCY tap “+” → import from clipboard; allow the iPhone to add a VPN configuration and turn it on. We tested INCY with our link with a live connection on an iPhone on 22 September 2026.
We build Mayak — a private network. Our own app is for Android, and for INCY and Happ we provide a subscription link. This article is about INCY with any provider; only one section is about us. 3 days free after you confirm your email, no card needed. The trial is free and needs no card; without an email it is 1 day.
🍎 You are on an iPhone: create an account and the subscription link for INCY will be in your account area — five steps below.
What INCY is
INCY is a client for connecting to servers via links and subscriptions. The publisher's description addresses engineers and administrators who need to reach their own servers from an iPhone, iPad or Mac, and lists: importing configurations via links and subscriptions, automatic updating of the server list, traffic statistics. And on a separate line: “INCY does not provide servers and does not impose infrastructure.” In other words, “INCY VPN” is an empty shell that needs a server provider.
What the Russian App Store page said when we re-read it on 4 October 2026:
| What | On the page |
|---|---|
| Publisher | LLC ITDEV |
| Price | Free |
| Devices | iPhone and iPad with iOS 15.0 or later; Mac with macOS 12.0 or later and an Apple M1 chip or later |
| Version | 2.6.2 of 21 September 2026; first version 27 January 2026 |
| Language | Russian is included; nine languages in total |
| Data | The developer declared diagnostics — crash data not linked to the user. Above the section Apple notes that this information has not been verified by Apple |
It is the provider, not you, who chooses the protocol in INCY: they put their servers into the link. Our link, for example, brings servers using the X-ray protocol (VLESS with REALITY) — what is in it.
Where to download INCY and how to avoid a fake
- iPhone and iPad — from the App Store: INCY in the App Store. It is in the Russian App Store, and in the US one too. You can download INCY for free with an ordinary Russian Apple account — unlike Happ, which is not in the Russian store (our catalogue check).
- Check the publisher. Open the page and find the developer's name under the title and in the Provider line of the Information section: it should be LLC ITDEV. Well-known names in the App Store are surrounded by look-alike apps from other publishers (what that looks like), and a subscription link works like a password: do not paste it into an app you do not know.
- Mac — the same App Store page; you need a Mac with Apple silicon. We have not tested INCY with our link on a Mac (the Mac article).
- Android and Windows. INCY's Google Play page opens, with the developer shown as INCY-DEV; the publisher posts computer builds on GitHub — links on our “Where to tap” page. We have not tested INCY with our link on Android or Windows. On Android our own app is simpler — it needs no link.
Where to get a subscription for INCY
From the server provider — whoever you pay for access. A subscription is a link: through it INCY downloads the server list itself and updates it itself whenever the provider changes something. How a subscription differs from a one-line key, and why free keys from public lists are short-lived and lead to someone else's server, is covered in the article on Happ subscriptions: everything there applies to INCY too.
Before you pay, ask the provider three things: does their link work in INCY specifically, how many devices it covers, and how to pay from Russia (how that works).
How to add a subscription to INCY: five steps
- Install INCY from the App Store and check the publisher — LLC ITDEV.
- Copy the subscription link. With Mayak it is in your account area: the “Connecting by link” card → “Show the link” → copy. We have no “Open in INCY” button — the link is simply copied and pasted into INCY.
- Add it to INCY: “+” → import from clipboard. The app loads the server list by itself.
- Allow the configuration. On the first connection the iPhone asks whether it may add a VPN configuration — the usual routine for any app of this kind. Allow it.
- Pick a server and turn it on. Check that traffic goes through the server: open the IP address check — the country should change to the server's country.
Button names follow our connection page; in newer versions of INCY they may differ slightly.
INCY won't connect: what to check
- The servers did not load. Copy the whole link again and add it once more. If the link is ours, open it in the phone's browser: the page names the reason in words — access expired, the link was changed, no plan chosen — and it does not take a device slot (table of refusals).
- The servers are there, but no connection. Refresh the subscription by hand, try another server, switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data and back. The routine for finding the break is the same for any link-based client — five minutes, step by step.
- The iPhone itself is in the way: another app's configuration is on, the client is denied cellular data, the clock is off. Six such checks are in “VPN not working on iPhone”.
- All slots on the plan are taken. Every device with INCY takes a slot, just like a phone with the app. Remove the one you do not need in your account area.
INCY and Mayak
- Tested live. INCY with our subscription link on an iPhone — a live connection on 22 September 2026.
- The servers are ours; the list and the access term arrive through the link, and INCY updates the list by itself.
- One way of connecting. The link delivers one protocol; INCY does not try paths automatically the way our Android app does.
- Our own iPhone app is in development; we do not give dates. For now the path on iPhone is INCY or Happ with the subscription link.
- The trial — 3 days on two devices after you confirm your email, no card needed. After that, a plan: Start for up to 3 devices, Family for up to 5, Max for up to 10 (what it costs).
- What we do not promise. That it “always works”: your network is your own. In the mobile whitelist mode Mayak will not connect — neither through the app nor through the link.
Try INCY on your own iPhone. Create an account, open the “Connecting by link” card in your account area and add the link to INCY. We ask for no payment details for the trial. A confirmed email opens the access — 3 free days on two devices. An email is optional: without one the trial is 1 day.
What we checked
- INCY's page — the Apple catalogue (Russian and US storefronts) and the App Store page, 4 October 2026: publisher, price, requirements, version, languages, the data section, the “does not provide servers” line.
- INCY with our link — a live connection on an iPhone, 22 September 2026.
- INCY's Google Play page — opened on 4 October 2026: it exists, with the developer shown as INCY-DEV.
- Where the link is in the account area and what opening it in a browser shows — as in our help centre and the article on Happ subscriptions.
What we don't know
- Whether INCY on Android, Mac and Windows works with our link. Not tested.
- Whether the publishers in the App Store and Google Play are connected — LLC ITDEV and INCY-DEV. The names differ, and the Google Play app address is llc.itdev.incy; we know nothing more.
- How INCY handles data beyond what the developer declared on the page. Apple does not verify this, and neither do we.
- What the buttons will be called in future versions. The app is updated often.
- How your network behaves. Only you can see it. If it does not work, write to us with your operator, city and iPhone model.
