The company is set up and the places are paid for — now they need to reach people. At Mayak a manager does not “add” an employee: they invite, and the person joins by their own decision after reading the terms. Below are both ends of that road: what the manager does and what the employee sees.
In short. There are three ways to invite an employee: by account number, by email or with a link and a PIN. The employee signs in to their account or creates one, reads the terms and presses “Join” — their devices move to the company’s places. Their own subscription, if they have one, runs on its own term. Leaving the company is possible at any moment.
We build Mayak — a private network for phones, TVs and computers. For teams, your account has a “Company” section: one account to pay from, places for employees’ devices, and departments. 3 days free once you confirm your email, no card required. The trial is free and needs no card; without an email it is 1 day.
🍎 On iPhone Mayak works with the subscription link from your account. The real Happ (publisher Flyfrog LLC) is not in the Russian App Store — searching for that word there shows look-alike apps from other publishers. INCY (publisher LLC ITDEV) works instead: checked on 22 September 2026.
Diagram: the employee’s path
- Invitation
It arrives in their account (by account number), by email, or as a link whose PIN the manager shares separately.
- Their own account
The person signs in to their account or creates one. A department link takes them straight to that department; with the company-wide link they pick a department themselves.
- Terms and “Join”
“The manager will see your devices, how much traffic you use and when you registered…” Joining is only by their own button.
- Devices on the company’s places
The person’s devices move to the company’s places. Their own subscription, if any, runs on its own term.
- Leaving
Left or removed — the company’s places are switched off at once, and the devices move to the person’s own places, if they have any.
Devices on the company’s places, the last connection, traffic for 30 days, 90 days or a year, the registration date; can disconnect a device.
The employee’s personal devices — on their own plan or in a family group.
Step 1. The manager invites an employee
In the “Company” section, pick a department in the structure — its card has three ways to invite a person.
By account number. If the employee already uses Mayak, ask them for their account number — nine digits. The invitation arrives in their account. Set right away how many devices they get.
By email. Enter an address and the person receives an email with a link: they create an account or sign in to their own and join by themselves. The link in the email works once and needs no PIN.
With a link and a PIN. Handy when there are many people. You set how many devices each person gets, how many people can join through the link and how many days it stays valid — up to 90. The account shows the link and the PIN only once: save them right away and pass them on by different routes — for example, the link in the work chat and the PIN in person. The PIN length, 6 or 8 digits, is chosen in the company settings.
A link created inside a department leads straight into that department. With the company-wide link the person picks their own department.
If someone tries to guess the PIN. Other people’s wrong PINs do not close the link: after five mistakes in 15 minutes only the account that made them is paused. Everyone else joins as usual.
Step 2. The employee joins
The person opens the invitation — the link, the email or the “Company” section in their own account. If they do not have an account yet, they are offered to create one and brought back to the invitation right after signing in. There is no trial with a company invitation: the company pays for access.
Before the “Join” button they see the terms, word for word:
“You are joining ‘Company name’, department ‘Department name’. The company pays for your access — up to N devices. The manager will see your devices, how much traffic you use and when you registered. If you leave or are removed, the company’s access is switched off at once; your own subscription, if you have one, keeps working.”
Under the terms it says how many of their devices will move to the company’s places.
Step 3. Devices
After joining, the person’s devices move to the company’s places. New devices are connected as usual — what to tap on your device. If they had a subscription of their own, it does not burn out and runs on its own term.
What the manager sees afterwards
An employee’s card shows the department, the number of devices, the registration date, the last connection, a traffic chart for 30 days, 90 days or a year, and the list of devices on the company’s places. Any of them can be disconnected: the device stops working at once and the place is freed. The employee’s personal devices — on their own plan or in a family group — the manager neither sees nor disconnects.
An employee can be made a department manager or given the “Payments” right. A department’s card shows who has left over the last 90 days.
Leaving the company
An employee can leave by themselves with the “Leave the company” button, and a manager can remove them. Either way, the company’s places are switched off for the person at once, and their devices move to their own places — a personal plan or a family group, if they have one.
Short answers
I got an invitation from a company — what am I agreeing to? Terms that say plainly what the manager will see: your devices on the company’s places, traffic and your registration date. You join only with your own button and can leave at any moment.
How many devices can one employee get? As many as the manager sets in the invitation; the number can be changed later.
The link with a PIN does not work. The invitation says until what date the link is valid. If it has expired, or as many people have joined as the manager allowed, ask for a new one. After five wrong PINs, wait up to 15 minutes.
